    • HR Fieldscopes

Designed and engineered without compromise, HR ED fieldscopes deliver exceptional optical performance combined with sublime handling and total reliability.
Aimed squarely at the serious user, the models are built to withstand extremes in temperature, to operate unaffected by rain, cold or humidity and be used anywhere from the equatorial rainforests to the poles.

Delivering the highest resolution figures in the Opticron range, each HR ED body contains a high definition 5 element apochromat objective lens with 2 individual ED elements. In addition to enhancing resolution, this second element delivers significant reductions in chromatic aberration settings compared to single element designs. To optimise light transmission and colour contrast across the magnification range, Opticron N-type extra wide band multi-coating is applied to all air/glass surfaces throughout each instrument.

    • ES v4 Fieldscopes

ES v4 fieldscopes are designed and manufactured to deliver ‘best in class’ optical performance combined with rugged dependability and user comfort. Available in 80mm ED and 100mm ED, the instruments excel in the most important area for the majority of users - image quality. The absence of almost all visible chromatic aberration at even the highest magnification settings combined with superior resolution and colour contrast sets them apart from similarly priced products from other brands.

    • MM4 Travelscopes

The MM4 GA ED is the latest evolution of the popular Travelscope concept pioneered by Opticron over 20 years ago. Combining all the features that make our travelscopes the #1 choice for thousands of users the world over, the latest MM4 GA ED series continue to deliver our maxim; “smaller, lighter, brighter, sharper” to anyone searching for a supremely compact & versatile high quality instrument for long range accurate observation while on the move.

Designed & manufactured in Japan, the all-new compact HDF ED optical system creates a 50mm that measures 205mm [8.1”] and a 60mm 260mm [10.2”] (1). Constructed from lightweight materials, an MM4 weighs about the same as pair of 42mm binoculars and can be used without a support for crystal clear flat-field observation at magnifications below 20x. Unlike binoculars, they deliver stunning clarity and definition up to 36x (50mm) and 45x (60mm) when fitted with the HDF T or SDLv2 zoom eyepieces. Compatible with HR2/3, HDF and SDL eyepieces, existing fieldscope owners can use their eyepiece with an MM4 body.

    • MM3 Travelscopes

The MM3 are an evolution of the travelscope concept pioneered by Opticron in the early 1990's with the original Mighty Midget. Combining all the things that have made Opticron travelscopes the #1 choice for so many wildlife watchers over the years, the MM3 are designed and engineered to deliver bright, sharp images with good colour contrast and a "large scope" viewing experience.

Constructed from polycarbonate and lightweight alloys, the super-compact optical system creates bodies just 205mm (50mm) / 252mm (60mm) long and weigh about the same as pair of 42mm binoculars. They can be hand held for crystal clear flat field observation at magnifications below 20x but unlike binoculars, continue to deliver stunning clarity and definition up to 36x (50mm) and 45x (60mm).
