Returns Policy

If you purchased an Opticron product from one of dealers, your contract of sale is with them and you should contact that dealer to discuss how to return your product for refund or replacement. If you wish to return your product for repair, please see our Service & Repair page here for more information.

If you purchased directly from Opticron and the goods supplied are not what you expected, you must notify us that you wish to return them to us within 14 days. The goods should be returned in an unused condition and with the original packaging within 14 days of that notification and be accompanied by a completed Returns Form and a copy of proof of purchase.

We cannot process any returns without an original invoice number. Failure to provide any of the information on the returns form may cause delays in dealing with your return.

This returns policy does not affect your statutory rights.

1. Returning Goods

If you decide to cancel your order, you must bear the cost of returning the goods.

For items weighing less than 10kg, UK customers may like to use a service such as YODEL Direct to return goods via a local drop-off point. Please note that YODEL Direct is a third party service, not provided by Opticron - if you need help with arranging a return through the service, please contact YODEL Direct.

Non-UK customers should use a delivery service that requires a signature by the recipient and/or that insures the goods whilst in transit.

2. Faulty Goods

Where goods are faulty Opticron will bear the costs of providing a replacement including refunding the cost of returning the item and paying for re-delivery costs. You must notify us within 14 days of receipt of the goods if you wish to have your goods refunded or replaced for this reason.

3. Refunds

Refunds will be credited to the original method of payment and an email will be sent to confirm when this has been done. Refunds will be processed within 14 days of receipt of the returned goods.

4. Returning Goods For Warranty Repair/Replacement

You must bear the cost of returning goods to us to be repaired or replaced under warranty. You must also bear the cost of us returning goods to you even if the repair to the goods is covered under warranty.
