1. UK Addresses
Delivery is free of charge for orders over £50 including VAT. Delivery for orders under £50 is £4 to cover processing, postage and packaging although some larger items under £50 may incur charges of up to £10. The total cost of delivery will be advised when your order is confirmed.
Delivery is usually next working day although delivery to certain UK locations (e.g. Scottish Highlands, Isle of Man, Isle of Wight) may take up to three working days. Weekend deliveries are not available.
Orders received by 12.30pm UK time are usually despatched the same working day.
We are not able to guarantee that any special instructions for couriers such as “leave with neighbour” will be followed by the courier.
2. Outside UK
Delivery will take between 2 and 10 days depending on the country and location within that country. If you wish to get a more accurate indication of the delivery time before placing your order, please contact us.
A delivery charge will be applied to your order depending on the size and weight of the goods ordered. For orders placed online, the delivery charge will be added to your basket and will update as you add products. For orders placed by phone, the delivery cost will be confirmed when you place the order. The charges below are examples for typical items available to order:
Accessories e.g. lanyards, photoadapters £12 to £25
Small optical products e.g. compact binoculars, monoculars £12 to £25
Mid-sized optical products e.g. binoculars £15 to £55
Large items e.g. spotting scopes, tripods, mounts £20 to £75
PLEASE NOTE: You may be liable for the payment of import duty and/or other taxes such as VAT or GST. Please check with your local government or tax authority what the rates and liabilities are before placing your order. Opticron will not be liable for any additional costs for the importation of goods to non-UK countries.
