DBA VHD 8x42 - Dan Rouse

      29 July 2016

One of the best features of this particular model is the ED glass that Opticron have chosen. It really sets it aside making the images you see seem almost perfect. There’s no blurring around the outside, no distortion or colour fringing.

DBA VHD 8x42 - Al Batt

      24 June 2016

One of the vultures wasn’t a vulture. The tail told the tale. I got great looks. Not all optics can pull off that look, but the binoculars never blinked. As I watched a zone-tailed hawk fly far above me in Arizona, I fell in love with the Opticron binoculars.

DBA VHD 8x42 - Frank Dickman

      08 January 2016

So the question that most of you should be thinking, at least in my opinion, is “So just how good optically is Opticron’s flagship model?” It is good. Very good as a matter of fact. On axis performance is as good as any binocular I have had the privilege to look through in the last year including some of the most expensive consumer binoculars on the market.

DBA VHD 8x42 - Ray Scally

      27 November 2015

The optical quality was a big surprise and on my first view through the binoculars I asked myself if I would be able to tell them apart from other top of the range binoculars it was so good, the image was extremely sharp with excellent colour saturation and a very neutral if not absent colour cast.
