A revolutionary spottingscope created to optimise the balance between optical performance and size, the MM2 Mighty Midget is an ideal choice for the space and weight conscious user looking for high quality and value or an existing Opticron 'scope user looking for a complimentary smaller 'travelscope'.
Available in standard glass or high performance ED glass formats, the precision optical design utilises an extendable objective lens system that allows the unit to be retracted to under 18cm for optimum portability. Fully extended the body measures just under 22cm excluding eyepiece.
Available in straight-through and 45° bodies, features include:

MM2 52 ED · MM2 52/45 ED
High performance versions of the MM2 delivering improved light transmission and better colour contrast compared to standard models. ED 'extra low dispersion' glass objective eliminates virtually all chromatic aberration over 30x increasing apparent resolution, aiding identification and enhancing general viewing experience. Recommended eyepieces include HDF T 40858M 24xWW, 40859M HDF 28xWA and 40862M HDF T 12-36x.

The preferred choice for quality and viewing comfort, HDF T eyepieces have large dia. eyelenses that provide 'walk-in' field of vision. All HDF eyepieces offer full field of view with or without glasses and are designated wide-angle. Models marked (*) feature a twist-type retractable eyecup. 10 year guarantee.
