The IS WP are designed for the first-time user, frequent traveller and those on a budget. These interchangeable eyepiece fieldscopes are excellent value for money - delivering high levels of performance and versatility in extremely compact and lightweight bodies.

Features and options include; nitrogen waterproof construction, 4 element fully multi-coated objective lenses with BK7 fully multi-coated prisms and internal focusing, rotating tripod sleeve for use with photo/video tripods and bipods, retractable lens hood to protect against glare, accessories for SLR telephotography plus a comprehensive 10 year guarantee.

IS 70 WP F-Scope
This Japanese designed IS 70 WP weighs in at 909g and offers remarkable performance for its sub £200 price tag. Featuring an F400mm, 4 element objective with a surface area 35% greater than the IS 60 WP, both straight-through and 45° angled viewing models deliver remarkably bright and sharp images with good colour contrast across a wide range of magnifications.

EYEPIECES
A wide range of eyepieces are available for use with IS WP Fieldscopes. Choosing the best eyepiece is often confusing but making the right choice will depend on price and application. It is important to remember that the eyepiece is an integral part of the whole set-up and opting for a lower quality lens will make a difference to the overall image quality derived from the fieldscope.

IS EYEPIECES CLICK FOR IMAGES
Dedicated long eyerelief eyepieces and best overall choice as a first eyepiece. If you want a zoom eyepiece and getting the 'highest' top end magnification is not essential, choose 40919S over 40918S as resolution, contrast and field of view are all superior. Eyepieces screw directly onto telescope bodies. Eyepieces in table marked * have a twist-type eyecup.

HR EYEPIECES CLICK FOR IMAGES
Good choice as a second eyepiece, HR eyepieces are long eyerelief and resolution on the 40933S HR2 is better than both 40918S/40919S IS zoom eyepieces. Eyepieces in table marked * have a twist-type eyecup.
Note. Eyepiece adapters are required to fit HR eyepiece to IS WP bodies. These are supplied 'free of charge' if purchased with a new scope body or priced at £3.00 inc. VAT if purchased separately. HDF EYEPIECES CLICK FOR IMAGES
The preferred choice for quality and viewing comfort, HDF eyepieces have large dia. eyelenses and provide 'walk-in' field of vision. All eyepieces feature long eyerelief for full field of view with or without spectacles and fixed magnification models are wide angle. Eyepieces in table marked * have a twist-type eyecup.
Note. Eyepiece adapters are required to fit HDF eyepiece to IS WP bodies. These are supplied 'free of charge' if purchased with a new scope body or priced at £3.00 inc. VAT if purchased separately. Use 40927S adapter to fit 40862S HDF collar thread eyepiece. Use 40925S adapter to fit 40810S, 40809S, 40858S, 40859S, 40860S and 40861S HDF internal screw thread eyepieces.

SDL EYEPIECE CLICK FOR IMAGE
An F24 - F8, 5-group 8-element 'super' zoom, the 40935 SDL has been designed to maximise the performance gains inherent in Opticron ED objective lens fieldscopes at higher magnifications. Offering an optimum ratio between field of view and resolution, the main viewing characteristics of the SDL eyepiece are superior cross-field definition at all magnifications coupled with exceptional viewing comfort. Mechanically the eyepiece is waterproof, uses the M41.5 collar thread attachment, features a 90° rotation between high and low magnification settings plus a rotating eyecup that can be positioned to match individual needs. Supplied in soft padded case.
